German label; name derived from Schallplatten, Produktion & Vertrieb. Use this profile for entries, where 'SPV' is credited without further specification or used as a logo without further marks "Records", "Recordings", "GmbH" and similar. The role of SPV can vary between record company, distributor and label. SPV was used for label purposes without further specification in the beginning of the company in the 1980's.
