S.M. Entertainment

SM Entertainment (SM엔터테인먼트 or 에스엠엔터테인먼트) is a semi-independent Republic of Korea label founded in 1995. They primarily release local dance/pop artists, but they also sublicense Avex Trax Japanese releases for South Korea. This is a label, for the company please use (1995–April 2018) or SM Entertainment Co., Ltd. (May 2018–present). The "S.M. Entertainment" logo was used until mid-November 2017. The first release to carry the "SM Entertainment" logo was Red Velvet (3)'s [r=11360972] (17 November 2017; SMK 0860).
