Laufey (born April 23, 1999, in Reykjavík, Iceland) is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She was raised in a musical family, trained in piano and cello, and studied at Berklee College of Music. Laufey released her debut EP [m=2564372] in 2021, followed by the albums [m=2793302] (2022), [m=3233887] (2023), and [m=3944096] (2025). Bewitched received the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album in 2024. Her music combines elements of jazz, classical, and pop, with later recordings incorporating orchestral and bossa nova influences.
