The Wedding Present

The Wedding Present, formed from the ashes of Lost Pandas, were founded in Leeds, England, in 1984. The only constant member throughout the group's history is singer/songwriter David Gedge. The initial line-up included guitarist Peter Solowka, bassist Keith Gregory, and drummer Shaun Charman, and approximately 25 musicians have passed through the band as official members since then. The current lineup, since summer 2025 consists of Gedge, Rachael Wood (guitar), Stuart Hastings (bass) and Christopher Hardwick (drums), with David Coyle sometimes featuring as stand-in guitarist.
