Six Degrees Records

Six Degrees is a music label that produces and markets recordings that explore world music, ambient, folk, contemporary classical, and pop music. Originally distributed by Island Records (US), it went independent in 2000 after temporarily ceasing operations in 1998. In 2006, the label signed a distribution pact with Fontana Distribution, whose parent is the successor to the company that distributed it in its first incarnation.
