Your Inland Empire is a French industrial metal / sludge metal / darkwave metal band. After encountering an undisclosed issue with their former record label (Pelagic Records), which led them to end Crown (9), the group (singer Stéphane Azam & his bandmates guitarist/producer David Husser, bassist Marc Strebler and drummer Nicolas Uhlen) changed its name to "Your Inland Empire" & signed to the label Season of Mist.
