Olive Jones

From Dorset, England, London-based singer, songwriter and guitarist whose sound blends soul, blues and alt-folk into richly melodic, emotionally charged music. Raised on the records of jazz greats and soul icons (such as Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Miles Davis), she places the expressive power of the voice at the heart of her artistry, crafting songs that explore love, loss and human connection through her lived experience, delivered with honey-drenched vocals and lush harmonies that linger long after the final note. She began playing saxophone at age seven, received a guitar at twelve, and started writing original songs at fourteen. After relocating to Leeds, she served as lead vocalist in the electro-soul and hip-hop group Noya Rao before transitioning to a solo career.
