Georges Delerue

(March 12, 1925 Roubaix – March 20, 1992 Los Angeles) French composer of opera, ballet, and theater and film scores including 'Jules et Jim' and most of François Truffaut's other films; 'The Pumpkin Eater', 'Julia', 'A Man For All Seasons' and he won the 1979 Oscar for Best Score for the film 'A Little Romance'.
