Punk rock band from the United States originally formed in 1989 as a part-time side project by lead singer, Dave Smalley with help from Dave Naz and Ed Urlik of the Chemical People. Smalley took Down By Law on as a full time career and replaced the members of the Chemical People with a full-time line up.
