As well as being a member of Saint Etienne and a DJ, Bob was the founder of the Caff fanzine/record label, Royal Mint and EMIDISC. Alongside fellow Saint Etienne member Pete Wiggs, he ran Icerink. He was also A&R for the first releases by iT Records (7). Eclipse (2) is the latest label started in 2006. Stanley has also complied, curated and/or written liner notes for numerous compilations and re-issues, often with his Saint Etienne bandmates.
