Chicago-based blackened thrash metal band, formed in 1992. Began as a side project by Rick, Dave and Joe during their tenure in The Dead Youth. It eventually became their primary focus, resulting in the disbanding of The Dead Youth. Usurper split-up in 2007 but guitarist & songwriter Rick Scythe resurrected the band in 2015 with former members Joe Apocalyptic Warlord and Danny "Tyrantor" Lawson. Current line-up: Rick S.
