She began her career as an actress, gaining international fame for her starring role in the Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire (2001–2004). Duff transitioned into music in the early 2000s, releasing her debut studio album Santa Claus Lane (2002), followed by the multi-platinum Metamorphosis (2003). Her music blends pop, rock, and dance influences, with hits including “So Yesterday,” “Come Clean,” “Wake Up,” “With Love,” and "Sparks".
