Little Simz

British rapper, singer, musician, recording artist and actress. Born: 23 February 1994 in Islington, London, UK. Simbi Ajikawo is better known as Little Simz (formerly Lil Simz). As an actress, she had a featured role in the first Netflix-released series (third series, overall) of London-based street drama "Top Boy" (2019), alongside former vocalist Ashley Walters (aka Asher D). Her fourth album, "[m=1510205]" (2019), was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize (2019), as was her fifth album, "[m=2278882]" (2021), which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize (2022), and for which she won. In February 2022 she also took the 'Best New Artist' award at the Brit Awards.
