Johnny Windhurst

Jazz trumpet player, born November 5, 1926 in New York, died October 2, 1981. Windhurst played primarily in the swing and big band styles. He was a self-taught musician; considered Bix Beiderbecke, Bobby Hackett, Wild Bill Davison, and Bunny Berigan among his influences.
