Memphis May Fire

Memphis May Fire is a band based in Dallas, Texas. They formed in December 2006 as "Oh Captain, My Captain" and renamed to Memphis May Fire in February 2007. They are currently signed to Rise Records. The band started out as a post-hardcore band with southern rock influences. Later on they gravitated more towards metalcore, while the more recent stuff has been described as more of an alternative metal sound.
