Formed in England 1977, Cardiacs originated in the group Cardiac Arrest, before entering the stage as Cardiacs in 1981. They began the label Alphabet to release their own material, after a couple of releases the label name was changed to . They are best known for their unique style of music which contains elements of Progressive Rock, Punk, and Psychedelic Rock.
