Antibalas

Brooklyn-based collective of musicians founded in 1998 by bandleader Martin Perna. Antibalas is Spanish for 'bulletproof', or literally, 'anti-bullets'. They have toured and played live extensively in over forty countries and five continents to push their new updated style of traditional Afrobeat music as once played by Fela Kuti.
