Andy Irvine

Irish singer-songwriter. Started in 1966 as part of . He co-founded in 1970 and in 1985. In between, and after that period he also developed a solo repertoire. Out of this he co-formed in 1986. Following the recording of his second and third solo albums, he re-formed Mosaic with a different line up in 2002. He also became part of . Andy received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the inaugural RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards in 2018. Born: June 14, 1942, in London, UK
