Flute & Voice

Hans Brandeis & Hans Reffert founded their duo Flute & Voice in spring 1970. The same year they recorded their first album “Imaginations of Light”, in 1973 they recorded a second album “Hallo Rabbit” which was not published then, because it was not “commercial” enough. It appeared, finally, as bonus album on the 1995 reissue of Flute & Voice. They also played live with an array of guest musicians, finally Hans Brandeis moved to Berlin in 1974 and Flute & Voice stopped playing in 1975. “Imaginations of Light” and “Hallo Rabbit” were released together on compact disc in 1995. In 1996, the demo tapes from 1974 and 1975 were re-recorded and released on a compact disc entitled "Drachenlieder."
